Today was my first time at their office. I was being referred by the VA for a mouth appliance to help with my sleep apnea. It was easy to find, very clean inside and attractive looking. They also offered little bottles of cold water which was nice since it was 110° outside! I wasn't kept waiting and the dentist was very nice. He explained things very well such as what steps we were going to do next. When I left, I didn't have any questions because my dentist was just that thorough. I'll be back after my appliances come in. 😊 July 2nd,2025 Yesterday, I went in for my mouth appliance. Once again, I was greeted with smiling faces and cheerful personalities. My dental tech took me right back and into my chair. My stretched leather chair that I could have easily fallen asleep in if my dentist, Dr. Shumake hadn't been so prompt. Lol! Anyways, he went over in great detail how to insert my dental appliance and the easiest way to remove it. We went over how how to make adjustments of needed, how to clean it, and etc. It came with a really nice container, a cleaning brush, cleaning tablets, and detailed instructions if I had any questions. Even though I had detailed written instructions, he said to call his office if I had any questions. So for those people out there that don't like to read, there's your safety net. Lol!! Oh, and just because I gave a detailed review previously, my opinion of his office, they gave me a gift! I got this adorable teeth whitening kit!! Yea, me!!! 😁 I had enough sense this time to take pictures so I'm including them in my review. Dr. Shumake and his office staff are getting 5- Stars again. Easy to find, great location, clean and attractive inside, friendly staff, super comfortable leather dental chair, prompt service, all questions answered, and call the office if I have *any* questions or concerns (safety net). Oh, and I'm a veteran and they took my insurance!

My son had his cleaning done at Aquila dental price rd with Ms.Julie.She is so sweet and caring.She did best job making his teeth sparkling clean.Please I recommend to all.They have best dentist and all staff.Their front desk they are very caring and always ready answer all your questions.Many dentist take your money before your treatment not this dentist team.So please go and check them yourself.

Aquila fit me for a fake tooth that was placed in my implant. The fit is perfect and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would highly recommend them for your dental work.

This is Sonal Patel Aquila Family and Cosmetic Dentistry(Price Rd) is the best.Dr Max and whole staff are most wonderful people very caring and make you so special .First dentist I have met that is not after your money. Dr Max took his time exam my dental problem Dr Max also made sure expert check So he send me to expert..Then he again did exam and gave me option.Best Dentist ever.He did best job taking my two crowns out and add bone.Dr.Max took his time to call and check the next day how I was doing.I am thankful I chose this team They are the best.I really recommend everyone to please check them.Best dentist team ever.

Very happy I chose Aquila Dental! The office staff was very welcoming. Dr Higgs and my hygienist, Emily were both very thorough with my exam, dental x-rays, and explanations for everything! Great team!

I finally found a great dentist! Not only is Dr. Higgs knowledgeable and caring but he is also down-to-earth. I needed a crown (which they create right in the office, which is a plus) and I also had cavities. Dr. Higgs walked me through the entire process and ensured I was comfortable throughout. In addition to Dr. Higgs, the dental assistants and front desk staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly as well. Aquila Dental truly makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

I called the office one afternoon when a crown came off a tooth. I was seen early the next morning. I am a winter visitor and did not have a dentist here. They impressed me very much with their professionalism. I got lucky with my Internet search, " dentists near me"

I had a very bad experience as a child so it's been 30 years since I've been to a dentist. Dr Higgs and his team are awesome and worked so well with my anxieties. I couldn't recommend them any higher. They gave me excellent care!!!

It took me a while to find a dentist that I like and trust here in AZ. Dr Higgs and his staff are amazing. They are great at making sure my mouth stays healthy, and using my dental benefits to help my spends. When I was without dental insurance, they found options for me.
