Dr. Rich Higgs

Dr. Rich Higgs is originally from northwest Indiana. In 1989 he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University and graduated from the Indiana School of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Higgs is committed to lifelong training as a way to be able to offer you the best dental care possible. Dr. Higgs has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education with an emphasis on cosmetic and functional dentistry. He is a graduate of the prestigious Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, one of the foremost hands-on cosmetic dentistry teaching institutions in the world.

His commitment to friendly, caring dentistry sets him apart from many other dentists. You can count on him for thorough, unhurried appointments designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. He knows that he's doing more than just creating beautiful, healthy smiles, he's also building a trusting relationship.

Dr. Higgs moved to the Phoenix Valley in 1996. When not in the office he enjoys cycling, competing in triathlons, golf and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and four dogs.

Sandy Hinojosa, Business Coordinator

Sandy's positive attitude and self-motivation is a perfect fit for our office's patient “centered philosophy”. She has developed a high level of professionalism assisting patients in the dental field for over 25 years. Sandy has specialized skills in administrative management, marketing and accounting. She is very detailed oriented and her attention to financial arrangements, insurance coordination of benefits and appointment scheduling has proven to be a wonderful asset.

Susan Higgs, Dental Assistant

Susan brings over three years of dental assisting to our practice. Originally from Long Island, NY, Susan moved to Arizona in 2000. She attended the Arizona College of Allied Health in 2003 and received her Associates Degree. She became a dental assistant because she enjoys being around people and helping those in need. Her goal is to make her patients' experience positive from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave and beyond. She feels modern dentistry can and should be an enjoyable experience and works hard to make it so. Recently married to Dr. Higgs, Susan enjoys working out and spending time with her two new step-daughters and the four family dogs.

Kimberly Lammes, Dental Assistant

Kim has been taking care of people's dental needs for over 4 years. She graduated from the Bryman Shool of Dental Assisting with an Associates Degree. Kim was born in Prescott and moved to Phoenix in 1984. She got involved in dentisty because of a tremendous desire to help people. Living a healthy lifestyle herself, it was natural to serve other people in doing the same. She truly enjoys being able to provide assistance to her patients in a luxurious, comfortable environment. When not helping her patients, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and son and two dogs. We are all looking forward to welcoming the newest Lammes into the world sometime in December!
